Who We Are

Our goal at Christ’s Community Church is “to know and share Jesus.”  We believe Jesus changes lives.   As we come to know Jesus and give more of ourselves to worship, prayer, serving and the study of God’s Word, we cannot help but be changed.
We believe church is a place where people should find themselves welcomed and accepted. Whatever your background, wherever you find yourself in life, there is a place for you here.
We also believe that church is a place where people are discovered and where gifts are identified and celebrated.  People have a way of growing and becoming their best at Christ’s Community Church.

What We Believe

  • Scripture: The Bible is the word of God. It is absolutely true and guides all we do.
  • God: We believe that there is only one living and true God, who has revealed himself in the Bible as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
  • Humanity: We believe that men and women were created in the image of God but fell into sin through the disobedience of Adam and Eve. As a result of fall, all people are born sinners and in need of salvation.
  • Jesus Christ: We believe that Jesus Christ is fully God and fully human and that he saves his people from their sin by his life, death, and resurrection.
  • Holy Spirit: We believe that the Holy Spirit enables us to believe and trust in Jesus as Lord and Savior. He transforms us to be more like Jesus.
  • The Church: We believe that God, by his grace, is calling people from the whole human race to believe in his Son, Jesus Christ. They enjoy a relationship with God and each other in communities of faith until the return of Jesus.
  • The Future: We believe that Christ is ruling now over the Church and the world through his Word and Spirit. He will return to judge the living and the dead and to renew all of creation.
